Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Journavibe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Journavibe.
2. Description of service
Journavibe is a time tracking application that allows users to log work entries in natural language. The service uses AI (via OpenAI) to categorize entries and provide productivity insights. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.
3. Accounts and registration
You must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials with others.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Journavibe. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in ways that harm other users or the infrastructure.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Journavibe for lawful personal or professional time tracking. You may not:
- –Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users.
- –Use automated scripts to submit large volumes of entries beyond normal personal use.
- –Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the service.
- –Use the service to process or store illegal content or to violate applicable laws.
- –Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical controls.
- –Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of your time entry data. By using the service, you grant Journavibe a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for purposes beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data as CSV at any time and request deletion of your account and all associated data.
6. AI features
Journavibe uses AI (currently OpenAI's API) to categorize time entries. AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any categorizations that are incorrect. Journavibe does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated insights or summaries.
7. Payments and billing
The free plan is available indefinitely with no payment required. If paid plans are introduced in the future, pricing will be communicated clearly before any charge is made.
All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at billing@journavibe.app within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the app settings. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms, with or without prior notice. If we terminate your account for reasons unrelated to a terms violation, we will provide reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data.
9. Limitation of liability
Journavibe is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Journavibe's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Journavibe in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first. If resolution is not reached within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction as applicable in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
